Thanks for taking the time to find out a bit about me. ProfessionI am the Usability Engineer / Programmer for a computer company in Australia. We specialise in developing business solutions in VB and MS Access as well as Palm based applications. I specialise in designing user interfaces to help simplify interaction between users and applications. I have also written various utilities that utilise encryption, FTP communications, data management, etc. Ray TracingI used to spend a lot of time playing around with Caligari- Truespace on the PC. No commercial projects, it's just for fun. Prior to switching to Caligari, I used Imagine for many years..going back before the Days of the PC. Nowadays I run Truespace on a 3 gig Pentium 4 with 2 gig of RAM and way, way too much hard disk to organise. Wing Chun Kung FuI almost deleted this entry when I updated the page, but I used to practice the martial art of Wing Chun. This is a form of Kung Fu developed in China. It focuses on the fastest, most efficient and practical ways to disable your opponents. I preferred this to the more traditional styles as it tends to focus specifically on direct fighting techniques. SnookerI wouldn't say I was great but I like playing it. I was lucky enough to play against and get some lessons from the now great John Higgins and Mark Williams who came to our local club for an exhibition match just before they became really famous. (After playing the worlds best, I could not go any further so I hung up my cue) Just kidding! GamesI love playing Massively multiplayer games online. Eve was my first and now I
play World of warcraft. This is why I don't have time to do any of my other
interests hehe.
